WebMogul is a small independent site, and the honest summary of this policy is: we collect almost nothing, and we sell nothing about you. The details, in plain language:
What we collect
If you sign up for the Mogul Memo newsletter, we store the email address you gave us, through our hosting provider's form service (Netlify). It's used to send you the newsletter and for nothing else. Every email includes an unsubscribe option, and you can request deletion any time. We don't run our own analytics scripts, and the site has no accounts, no comments, and no tracking of our own.
Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show you ads based on your visits to this and other sites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google's Ads Settings. We don't see or store any of that data ourselves.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning a company pays us a commission if you sign up through them, at no extra cost to you. These links may set a cookie on the destination site so the company knows we sent you. Which links are affiliate links is disclosed on every page that has them, and our About page explains how it shapes (and doesn't shape) our reviews.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Netlify, which, like any web host, keeps standard server logs (IP addresses, pages requested) for operating the service. We don't extend or combine those logs with anything.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the change appears on this page with an updated date at the top. Questions: use the contact form on the About page. If you submit it, we get your name, email, and message (again via Netlify's form service) and use them only to reply.
